Xapix is a developer-first company, improving developers' experience working with APIs. But what does that mean? Developers have many different projects, goals, and pain points.
XapiX is designed to work for anyone who uses APIs, whether you developed an API you want others to use, you have many APIs you need to integrate and maintain for your projects, or you want to get an app up and running quickly, without spending a lot of time searching for and integrating APIs.
While not inclusive of every type of Xapix user, three of the main types of XapiX users could be described as API Maintainers, API Integrators, and API Developers.
Mark, Nina, and Andrew each started using XapiX, hoping to benefit from different features:
Mark hoped to publish his company's API, make sure it was easy to use, and get developers using it. Nina hoped to have one place to manage all the APIs and their credentials, and easily integrate them, for her complex project. Andrew hoped to find some cool, applicable APIs for his new app, and get them integrated with minimal development time.
But as they used the platform, and their projects grew, Mark, Nina and Andrew experienced additional benefits:
Mark received valuable analytics about the use of his API and was able to improve it based on that data. Nina discovered some applicable APIs that improved her project. She even found some APIs that could improve the data quality of her custom integration. Andrew saw how easy it was to add CSV data, so he decided to add some custom data. Nina and Andrew both gained valuable insights from analytics, and saw where they could better optimize their API usage.
All three benefited from better maintained and documented APIs, through using a platform that allows for easy feedback about and maintenance of APIs.
Unsure what kind of user you are? Don't worry about it - it doesn't really matter! Just log on onto XapiX.io and use whatever features that work for you!
In the future, we will have a feature to that allows users to add their own APIs to the platform. Until then, if you have an API you want added to the platform, contact our Enterprise team.
